Benicio Del Toro was here yesterday, not for a movie premiere, but to say goodbye to his dear "Tia".
Sarah Torres Peralta, a very well known and liked lawyer in PR, died Thursday. She also was the godmother to the academy award winning actor and took care of him during his formative years after his mother's death.
Benicio has always acknowledged that her "Tia" (Auntie) was a big influence in his life and career.
Yesterday, he and his brother, both heartbroken by the loss, said goodbye to her at Buxeda Memorial in Hato Rey.
My thoughts are with Benicio at his time of loss.
