Miss Universe madness

One thing that you can always count in this island of enchantment is the Miss Universe hoopla in the summer time. Puerto Rico becomes a mecca for pageant watchers everywhere. People that would not give you the time of day, become expert pageant-ologists overnight, discussing with you the beauty of a candidate, weighting in her chances, Is there any favoritism involved?. Is Donald Trump signaling who will be the next MU? PR becomes excited in the crap surrounding the competition.

Of course, we have something to be excited about. Puerto Rico has won the Miss Universe pageant an incredible 5 times, second only to the US. Venezuela has only won 4 times. Everybody here is rooting for Ingrid Marie Rivera, the actual Miss Universe Puerto Rico. This is the same lady that was unmasked as a professional pageant participant, and claimed that her dress was sabotaged with pepper spray during the final night of competition. Now it's said that she's the Donald favorite to win the competition, as he wants terrains in PR to be given to him to construct a millionaires gulf club. A little favor for a big one.

If she wins on Sunday, it will be the sixth win. If not she will come back home as the fake celebrity she truly is, maybe to become a doctor's trophy wife, an info-taiment anchorperson or worst yet, a politician! A good career choice they should consider is porn, since they are whores (attention and otherwise), and already dead in the soul.

What baffles me is that next year...it will be the same shit all over again!
