On the brink of nuclear war?

Wait a minute! First former Warsaw Pact nations including Romania, Poland and the Czech Republic join NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organization). A bad move since there's no use for NATO anymore. Then Georgia, who very pro-west former Soviet republic, wants to join NATO and attacks South Ossetia when they said that they wanted to join the Russian Federation. When the Russians counterattack in a very cold-war tactic, an overkill really, too blunt for my taste, the US decides to play tough guy, condemns the attack and convinces Poland to join them in putting a missile defense system against Russia.
Just an hour ago Russia declared that if Poland decides to put missiles against Russia, Russia reserves the right to attack Poland with nuclear weapons if provoked!

The ironic thing is the nation that is playing peace maker between the boys is none other than Germany!!
Yes, Germany! The nation that gave us two of the most destructive wars last century, (apart from great cars, magnificent sound systems and hot porn). They have learned from their mistakes, and don't want Russia and the US repeating them!
What ticks me off is that probably Monkey Boy Bush and Evil Emperor Cheney are laughing at this!
