It's Official! MJ's public memorial and funeral will be next Tuesday!

The Hollywood Reporter reported and Jackson family members confirm that Michael Jackson's funeral has been scheduled for Tuesday, July 7th, at 10:00 in the morning at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, converting the entire Nokia Center into a venue for what's sure to be one of the biggest farewells in celebrity history.

In order to accommodate the thousands who will not be able to get inside, the funeral will be projected on giant screens. There is no word yet on how tickets will be handled.

The funeral will be followed at the same venue the next day by Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus, which had to postpone its opening show to July 8th for the sudden funeral.

We have a feeling Michael would have wanted it that way.
